This was a funny book I picked up and read at the library because I had time to kill before dinner.
There are 50 pictures. Then a quick synopsis of each date. Even a place at the end to put your own worst date on there.
Example:
Proposes on First Date
The Date: Terminally ill or in serious need of a tax break.
Location: His living room, next to the Xbox.
He Said: "Deal or no deal?"
She Said: "What's your name again?"
Best Part: At least he's not afraid of commitment.
Worst Part: You actually show more considered it for a minute.
Lot's of other gems, including Surprise! You were Related! and Creepy Non-Blinker and Cow Tipping.
I could add a few of my own - Guy Who Constantly Raises His Eyebrows Up and Down (who cares if he has a Porsche?) and Guy With CB and a Bunch of Geeky CB Friends (okay, it WAS the 80's, but still it's a little weird when his friends line up and down the street and they all stay in their cars and talk on their CBs to each other. Scary enough to think that there wasn't just ONE of them, there was a BUNCH of them.) show less

Amusing and quick to read but the book isn't much more than fluff.
I leafed through "50 jobs worse than yours" which did tickle my funny bone. This book best would just sit on your desk at work as a conversation starter. I think I'll do just that.
Friend gave it to me last year. Before I even had a boyfriend! Now I think they should write this book about girlfriends. Then we can all appreciate each other for our less-than-perfect virtues :P
