"Physism": the contention that the foundations of math belong to the laws of nature. Much of the book talks about quantum theory, but the not-so-clear writing can't be entirely ascribed to that. I couldn't see why one of my own contrary notions -- that mathematical concepts such as the number pi "exist" just as much in universes with different laws of physics as they do in our own universe -- would have to be wrong.
