The Routledge Companion to Aesthetics, Second Edition (Routledge Philosophy Companions) by Berys Gaut
I remember this being quite useless. The scope of the book is so wide that none of the topics are covered in sufficient detail. Many of the contributers seem unable to write in plain english. As Ayer (at least I think it was Ayer) said, if you can't say it in simple language, you don't understand it yourself.
