I found chapter 12 most useful. This is where Bruce Fisher makes clear how one partner goes into a 'rebellion' and seeks to find him/herself. If the other partner can stand the turmoil and not take it personally, the marriage could survive. Not taking it personally is the hard part...
A classic, highly recommended and widely used work for helping to process the difficulties of loss from a divorce.
a guide to resorting your life when a major relationship collapses. I don't remember anything much of the advice, so either I internalized it, and it was good, or it wasn't good advice.
