Learning From Strangers: The Art and Method of Qualitative Interview Studies by Robert S. Weiss

A clear, succinct, and (atypical for methods books) entirely useful guide to perform interviews. Of particular note are the dissections of interview transcripts. I wish I'd read this years ago, before I started doing qualitative interviews, but I still found plenty to learn here.
