2017. Great book about how drugs inspired jazz and the Beat Generation. Really sad. So many people die. Billie Holiday, Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Kerouac and Neal Cassady. But some people kick the drugs: Miles Davis, Coltrane, and Sonny Rollins. Lots of great tidbits about what the Beats were listening to, and how they all knew each other.
