This is a really great introduction and reference on basic aerobatic maneuvers. It's not particular to a certain type of aircraft (which is something I didn't like so much about the Aerobat-focused The Basic Aerobatic Manual), and it doesn't get super bogged down in tiny little details.

Only thing I noticed about the book is that it mentions a "basic" competition category. I've only been competing for less than a year, and don't know the history, but these days there's a "primary" category show more that is very different than what was described as "basic." show less
This is the all time BEST book on how to fly aerobatics! They cover how to do it, why you're doing it, common errors and how to fix them and photos from the pilot's perspective, so you know if it looks right. With this book I went into each lesson already knowing the maneuvers and saved lots of money on insturctor time.
reviews the history of the 11 largest trunk carriers flying at the end of the CAB regulated era. the early days, the build up during the 1930s, war service, the propliner era, the transition to jets and history thereafter.
Classic American Airlines vividly retells the alluring history behind America's greatest airlines: United, American, TWA, Eastern, Pan Am, Delta, Northwest, and Republic, among others. Individual profiles contain photographs of the aircraft used through the years and the show more variety of color schemes that adorned them. Airline advertisements, route maps, timetables, and other memorabilia add flavor to this nostalgic airline history. show less
