This is the book I wish I had when I was diagnosed. It's full of down to earth advice and interesting tips on surviving a cancer diagnosis and the treatment, what to expect and what the major side-effects of some of the drugs can be. Even years after it helped me deal with some of the lingering issues.
It also has a helpful chapter on dealing with a friend with cancer, what to say and how to cope.
Recommended for anyone whose life has been touched by this disease, which he does point out is show more just a word, and not a very accurate word at that. show less

All the fervent enthusiasm of a recent convert. Stage 3 in enlightment. Will he reached stage 4 which is to embrace all things?
This book commits several logical fallacies. There are others written from the same perspective that are much higher in quality.
bacteria and small things that live on us. Humerous, factual. A good read once.
