Bought second hand after visiting this amazing collection, this is a good cross section of an amazing, ecclectic art collection. The Burrell Collection, now a free museum for all to enjoy, is the life collection of one man, who started off collecting what he enjoyed and by the end was buying things 'to fill the gaps'. A book best enjoyed after seeing the collection for yourself.
