The chapters varied widely in quality. Can't all be bangers, I guess. I found something to chew on in most of them, though. Plenty of material for campaigns that enjoy delving into the ancient past.

I suppose befitting the theme of this book, each House was a lot less tight in terms of narrative and cohesion. Not as flavorful or exciting as the Mystery Cults, not as central to the core plot as the True Lineage Houses. Worth reading, but I don't find myself likely to play any of these Houses having absorbed their lore.

Plenty of technical details, but some of the traditions were light on the contextual impact.
