Peter Blake's "Master Builders" is a good place to start for anyone interested in modern architecture in general, and these three iconic giants in particular. Blake, an architect himself, as well as a prolific writer, gives a concise biographical overview of each of his subjects before going into analyses of each of their work. Mies and Corbu were still alive when this book was published and Wright had died just the year before. This is an important basic text for any architectural library.
