Looking for a way to offer online training, Moodle seems like a natural for anyone who's created a website with Joomla! However, just reading their website and trying to follow your nose can be intimidating for the less than geeky, cute and cuddly icons notwithstanding. We looked for a book which would provide some easy to understand advice for the technical setup as well as for actual course development - and this book delivered! I'm sure we're going to find some other alternatives to the show more author's suggestions the further we move along but this is an excellent foundational book for the novice.

If you're new to Moodle, pick up this book and read it. The only thing keeping me from a 5 star is a lack of Kindle availability so I could have it more available when/where I wanted to. show less
