"De beste foto's uit de 19e eeuw" geeft een overzicht van de ontwikkeling van de fotografie vanaf ongeveer 1850 tot 1918. De foto's geven een beeld van het dagelijks leven. Leuk om even door te bladeren, maar het boek laat geen blijvende indruk achter.
