This is written at about a Junior High level. It is a book of non-fiction stories of real young people' lives in China. Some of these people are college or high school students, some live in the city and some live in the country. There are the stories of several different Chinese minorities and a look at how they live. The book was written in 1983 so there have been many changes since then, but I think not so many as to make these stories out-of-date. Worth the read for young teens/teens show more looking for information on how young people live in China. show less
