Reviews
This was written just before the minimalist interpretations of Palestinian archaeology were published. So this books still considers the Bible to be a relevant historical document and interprets the discoveries in its "light". While opinions of the minimalists vary, I at least wanted a book that addressed their challenge to Palestinian archaeological thinking, so I didn't find this helpful.
