In this book, a boy lost his tooth when he sneezed and then couldn't find it. He put his grandpa's dentures under his pillow hoping to trick the tooth fairy. In the middle of the night, the tooth fairy came and realized she didn't have enough money to cash out for all of the teeth on the dentures. When she returned, grandfather had found the tooth and put it underneath the boys pillow. He used the money he got and went and bough the kite he had wanted.
In this book all of the show more characters are black including the tooth fairy. I personally imagined a white tooth fairy when I was little, but I'm sure people imagine things that look like them! I'm sure a lot of children would be able to connect with this book, and be able to see themself. show less

This book is filled with VERY colorful photographs of children from all around the world. It will help teach about different ways children grow up/live that your child might not be familiar with. On the page that talks about Africa, the little girl talks about how her dad takes vistors to see the lions that live near her home. Even though it's a simple read, it probably best for ages 4-5+
