This 1990 book predicted the end of a very long cyclical upswing for 1987 and got it completely wrong. However, if you extend their Elliot charts to 2008, you get a much better wave shape with a 2007 Dow top at 14.000 or so. The time spans also fit nicely. Perhaps not to be taken too seriously.

A book about deflations resulting from credit crises. The book was written some years ago but it seems to be where we are now (Jan 2009).
It's very good and explains how the economy works much better than the poor stuff I learnt in university for an economics degree.
