Everyday Hebrew for Beginners - 400 Actions & Activities: Beginner Hebrew #1 by Innovative Language Learning
Ok I think people would do better off just using Pimsleur though this is less expensive. Some of these sentences that they teach you are not relevant... one of them was something like "I critique an actor." That makes no sense as to why someone should learn that word.
This volume starts of with ads for language learning program, then has a very poorly edited introduction (copy-pasted from the Spanish edition...).
Furthermore, in the numbers section, the page for number 6 is missing. The second example sentence for 100 feels stilted (most germans would say 'hundert' in stead of 'einhundert' in that sentence.
On the page for 'gestern', the example sentences are switched around.
In section 8, for 'sie', the 'n' is missing in the example phrase 'Sie sind show more schon'
Section 8, 'jetzt', more common to say 'Was möchtest du jetzt machen' in stead of 'Was magst du jetzt machen'.
Nevertheless, an okay colection of everyday phrases. show less

I was really hoping this would be a modern slang dictionary considering British slang and american slang are different. Mostly this was just very VERY basic words which I assume has slightly different pronunciations and you need the audio to actually tell if this is actually the case or not.
erk! can't stand the Spanish narrator's voice!
