Addicting!!!

I only learned of this series when I read book 1 in the equally enjoyable SPELLBOUND boxset. I immediately got the remaining books in this brilliant series. Imagine growing up on earth and upon turning 18 you learn EVERYTHING in your life is not as you thought. You are suddenly bound to someone from another planet similar to earth... Oh and yes you suddenly have telepathy and other powers emerging. Not to mention.... Without consent you're automatically the aoylmate to a major show more hottie. Such was Faiths life.... Growing up her neighbor and BFF SYLVIE was always by her side.... Double trouble... Sisters in arms and life. Oopsie... One minor detail never mentioned? Sylvie too is from the other planet kept to look out for Faith by Sylvies grandfather the King.... Yup... KING. Faiths grandfather is the King too... Downside? He's the arch enemy. So Sylvie, Faith and their crew are slowly working to change things. Considering each if them seems to be mating the enemy it's quickly becoming a neccesity to figure how to end this war. SYLVIE our little red headed firecracker is drawn to her mate too.... Doesn't it just figure he's also the enemy... And a dratted enchanter to boot? Merlin on a stick she couldn't catch a break!.... But goodness does he look yummy. LOL. Yup Guy and Sylvie are the Sam and Diane of this book. It's great fun to see them try to fight this bond which is fast becoming one of the strongest yet.... Join the ride to see which amazing skills our Sylvie ends up getting.... No surprise that she too gains talents that have been dormant for centuries!! Will Sylvie and Guy succeed in ending this darned war? You'll have to read and see.... I dare you not to fall in love with these fun characters on this frustrating, yet oh so fun journey. show less
Highlander's Claim: Time Travel Romance (The Matheson Warriors Book 2) by Joanne Wadsworth is a great Time Travel Romance. While book 2, I feel, it can read as a stand alone.

This is the journey of Ailith, the granddaughter of the King of Faes and Hunter Matheson, a warrior shifter. Ailith travels through time, when needed to help her half-blooded Earthbound kind. Ailith, has the ability to see visions of war and destruction before it unfolds. Now death is coming for one of the fae warriors show more so she is called to protect, but in order to save him, she must first figure out who he is, and which time he hails from. Enter, Hunter Matheson, a warrior shifter. Hunter is intrigued by Ailith. She arrives through a portal into the twenty-first century, not from his world, but from the year 1211.

Slow to begin with, to me, but picks up quickly.
Well written with great world building from the past to the future. The characters are enjoyable. While a Time Travel adventure, the characters feel realistic and believable. The plot was intriguing, very interesting, captivating and flows seamlessly and effortlessly. I was held in awe after the first few pages.

Ailith and Hunter, certainly belong together, rather soul mates or not. They make a unique and interesting couple. Sparks fly off the pages from their first meeting, the reader can feel the chemistry between them. The danger, consequences, drama, romance, chemistry, feuds, war, suspense and mystery, brings HIGHLANDER'S CLAIM, to a climatic conclusion. This book has so much to offer readers, not just Time Travel fans, but fans of Highlanders, as well. The Highlands are filled with myths, folklore, legends, and more, after all. Ms. Wadsworth is a talented author, who draws readers into her stories of romance, love, Time Travel and HEAs.
Once I got into this story, which didn't take me but a couple of pages, BTW, I was absolutely delighted. Ms. Wadsworth did a great job with her details, her characterizations, and her story development, that I was truly in awe. Strongly recommended. Well done, Ms. Wadsworth.
I received a complimentary copy, however, all opinions are my own.

It's Saria's story and she's had a year in the program and the protection of Ben Hammers, they have become really close but have not taken the final step in their relationship.
The suspense in the story carry's on from book 1, Saria joins her sister on a cruise who is making plans for her wedding, she misses her bodyguard so she asks him to join them, which is a good thing as she is again faced with more trouble and in need of help.
I liked Ben, he was a very sensitive character, and Saria show more also, she was very caring towards Bens feelings and very loyal.
Lot's of thrills and action in this great summer read and the romance is smoking hot. I love the Bodyguards! I want more!

Another great adventure

This time it's Goldie's turn to have a little adventure. Discovering a new long lost ability that hasn't been seen in centuries, she tracks down the counterpart to keep her in line. In doing so will she find her true love? More mysteries are unlocked in learning more about her new ability. After all... Since Peacio and Dralion are coexisting, and then lost Sol Tribe united with them... It seems much lost history has begun to show itself. Have fun joining the first show more princess Goldie, Hope, Faith and all the others in looking for answers. Trust me, you're in for one heckuva ride... And it WILL leave you wanting even more! show less
