This book has been a fun book to read with my 2 year old daughter. The characters are familiar to her and each one is covered by a peek-a-boo flap. When I read the story with her, I'll ask her to finish the sentence by guessing who is hidden by the flap and then ask her to reveal the character to see if her prediction was right.

The story is simple and the rhymes are cute. The story depicts baby Bugs Bunny staying up late to see Santa. Every page has a mysterious Christmas themed item with show more one of the Baby Bugs' friends hiding behind. The rhyming scheme gives a clue to who the child will find behind the flap and I enjoy watching my daughter guessing then checking as the story goes along.

I recommend this book for small children between the ages of newborn and 3 years old.

It's a board book which is great for little hands.
