Comédie virevoltante et très bien rythmée, réalisée de manière plutôt traditionnelle mais avec les bons savoir-faire et recettes du genre. Direction d'acteurs efficace qui n'a pas besoin d'en faire des tonnes, en présence d'un excellent casting.
Solidement construit autour d'une histoire de famille(s), d'amour(s) et d'héritage, c'est drôle et gentiment décapant.

In the countryside near Normandy’s beaches lives Marie, unhappy. It’s 1944, she’s married to Jérôme, a somewhat fussy milquetoast, diffident to the war around him and unwilling to move his wife to Paris, where she longs to live, shop, and party.
