This type of book is my favorite type of book because I am not a big reader and I love puzzles. This book combines science, math, and art to create puzzles for students to solve. The puzzles are divided into sections and are ranked based on the difficulty level of the puzzle.

This is a large format book, with numerous illustrated puzzles, arranged innovatively.

This book is a large format book with a spiral binding. Each page is laid out in separate panels of various sizes, each panel corresponding to a puzzle. Each puzzle has a, usually very well thought out, illustration associated with it. The puzzles also have a cute system of icons indicating difficulty, but also other characteristics of the puzzle, for example, if you should expect to have to do some drawing. There is a smaller version of this book containing only 500+ puzzles, which might seem a little less daunting. The book is an impressive achievement, and very enjoyable.… (more)

These seemed kind of uninteresting, and not confined to visual perception. I like the 1000 playthinks book a lot better.
