This is one I prefer over The Study of Human Nature, also by Stevenson. It is much more reader-friendly but it must be noted the works are interpreted through the authors (Stevenson and Haberman).

I'll give this one an okay because I had to read it for a class and I didn't have time to let the readings sink in. For the most part it consists of Stevenson offering an introduction to a reading, then the text he has chosen to represent that particular philosopher's ideas.

I might go back to it at a later date and reread but at the moment - no.

they are somewhat defending science where as mainly putting it down for its destruction of the world but showing how we were destined to do it. its the kind of you book you'd read in a class with a mad scientist turned professor who desperately wants his students to believe his outlandish claims. OH WAIT THAT'S EXACTLY WHY I'M READING THIS!
