I have resumed working on this after a lengthy hiatus. My goal is to eventually include everything in my personal library and to have rated as many of the books I have read as possible. Everything listed here is part of my personal library.

My ratings tend to run a bit on the high side since if I don't like or value a book it tends to get donated to my local public library rather than staying in my collection :)

About Me

I am a community college economics professor with a lifelong passion for books and reading. I'm also a big movie buff and love many kinds of music, from classical to Celtic.

My reading habit has always been to have many books going at once. The "in progress" list will usually include 1) one or two books with some connection to economics--the "professional" reading; 2) one film book, 3) several other nonfiction books--history, current affairs, science, etc; 4) some kind of fiction, either fantasy/sci-fi or mystery/suspense (these days, most likely the latter).
