About My Library

I'm mainly interested in literature written before the 1960s-70s, as well as non-fiction dealing with history.

That being said, I'll read anything that sounds interesting to me, so it's easier to say what I don't tend to read: Crime, fantasy, SF and YA. (Again, there are always exceptions to the rule, especially with books written before the second half of the 20th century.)

The 18th and 19th century are especially dear to me. I dream of a Kate Beaton volume only focusing on the silly drama among the romantics.

I also love second-hand and antiquarian bookstores since they make it so easy to find great books you never even expected to exist. :)
