Hm, sounds like vandalism. I suggest you report it to the LT powers that be. (Not that I, personally, have any clue where B.O. was born. And frankly I don't give a damn. But then I'm just another European - I sort of get this is an issue in the states).

Anyway, either way. People have been suspended for vandalism before.

And now this makes every CK edit and entry @dukeallen has made suspect. Great.

He's using CK as a medium to childishly express his lack of enthusiasm for Obama, Gore, atheism and who knows what else?

Tim has been notified. I think members have now deleted most or all of the vandalism. It seems mostly to have been in various fields of certain author pages (Obama, Gore, United States, God) and in book descriptions, for some books the member evidently disliked. Wouldn't hurt to go through the rest of the edits, but I think most or all of what remains are ok.

I wonder if individual members can be blocked from making CK edits. I certainly hope they can.

I'm pretty sure they can easily be blocked from making CK edits by suspending their accounts. Vandalism is a TOS violation.

What a terrible thing to do.

I'm just wondering how many more authors have this kind of CK attached! Thanks to those members who fixed Obama and Gore.
