A competent anthology for students of the title genre. there are some overlaps with the book I read on "The Breton Lays in English", there's enough new stuff to justify a purchase, especially for the student. There is a little peripheral Arthuriana, as well.
An excellent collection of Middle English poetry, with excellent commentary and notes to allow further investigation.
