There is beautifully written by an author that obviously has a love of language. I did however struggle to get into the book and ended up abandoning it half way through.
Een gered boek: Moem moest het zeer gewaardeerde "Kantoorpaleis" verlaten en zocht nieuwe lezers voor de boeken die daar stonden. Dit is er één van.

Het gaat op reis nadat ik het heb gelezen.
Tweede roman van de zwaar gehandicapte schrijver (zie: With my left Foot, 1954), minder gefocused op zijn handicao, en meer op het sociale leven in ierland tussen 1940-1965.
