I have to admit my interest in Vikings started from the TV series of the same name . So this little book was my first introduction to facts and it has been a wow intro. I love it needless to say I am a lover of history but had really only ever stuck wit Tudors and above . Now a whole new world has opened before me . Oh so much to learn and only 24hrs in a day . Not enough I tell you.
I recommend this book to anyone as a good starting point with so much detail , hmm a lot of detail in places , but have to remember times were different and they lived by what they believed. Read it , really .
