Food Network Iron Chef Bobby Flay offers another title on using the grill for a variety of food preparations. Early pages give the basics of proper grilling technique, regardless of whether you use Gas or Coal. Later chapters are divided by food type (Corn, Seafood, Pork, Beef, etc). Flay's idea is to use the book as a reference once you've decided what you want to grill but aren't sure quite how you want to make it. Recipes range from simplistic to the more eclectic gourmet, but all are appropriate for simple dinners with the family to dinner parties with friends where you'd like to impress with your grilling acumen. Flay provides short narration in addition to the recipes, which are accompanied by attractive photos. This is a helpful show more guide for anyone who grills regularly (and 80% of Americans own at least one kind of grill). show less

Robert William "Bobby" Flay was born in New York City (1964). He is a chef, restauranteur, and television personality. After dropping out of high school at age seventeen, he worked several food service jobs. He showed natural talent. His employer sponsored him at the French Culinary Institute. Today, Bobby is the chef-owner of three Mesa Grill show more restaurants (New York City, Caesar's Palace Las Vegas, and the Bahamas), Bar Americain, Bobby Flay Steak, and Bobby¿s Burger Palace. He is the host of numerous popular cooking shows on Food Network, Bobby Flay's Barbecue Addiction, Iron Chef America, Throwdown! with Bobby Flay, Boy Meets Grill, and Grill it!
