Meh. Might be ok if you read a few pages and set it down again over and over. As a book it just doesn't hang together despite the ample amounts of filler. The topic is the perfect source of interesting blog posts or online reading, but doesn't work in this format. Maybe teh first one was better, but I'd skip 'em both and check out the website instead.
Blech! The stories are sometimes funny in ones on the blog, but all collected in a book it feels cruel.
So while reading this book it dawned on me that for some reason, although the stories were entertaining, I was not the least bit surprised by how stupid people can be. maybe we have been over exposed to it most of our lives, but then, you would think that somewhere, people would get smarter.

This book listed accounts of stupid things that stupid people did to get themselves hurt or killed. Of these people and stories awards are given, albeit just for names sake.
I do find that the idea is a little sick and twisted, but if you are into hearing stories about the robber that went down the chimney and got stuck....well, this book is for you.
the things people do! unbelievable! very funny, very disturbing, very odd, the things people do or even think about doing.
makes me worry about the general intelligence of the human race!
Az emberi faj egyik legmulatságosabb könyvsorozatának legújabb kötete a hátborzongató balesetek és szerencsétlenségek friss gyűjteménye. Azoknak állít emléket, akik lenyűgöző ostobaságuknak köszönhetően saját maguk gondoskodtak génjeik kihalásáról, nagymértékben hozzájárulva ezzel az emberi faj fejlődéséhez. (Alexandra Kiadó)
