About meI am a subeditor with West Australian Newspapers, and find reading fiction a great way to relax. While I lived in the UK, I wrote books reviews for the Brighton Argus, a Newsquest group regional newspaper.
About my libraryI am a completionist, so I tend to collect crime and urban fantasy series, and historical fiction.

Right now, I'm giving the ol' grey cells a bit of a vacation and reading a couple of cozies before hitting the serious stacks again.

Thanks for the complement.
I tried to be nicer in my critique, but honestly, it was the first book in recent memory that actually made me mad at the author for wasting my time.
You have quite an interesting library, so I'm going to add you to my interesting libraries group.
Blessings,
Michael

I've also recently enjoyed Bone Song, while a bit gruesome it's an interesting and unusual read. Mistress of the Art of Death shows a lot of promise. Driving him Wild was a chance discovery from a blog and quite a good read.
I liked the Friday Night Knitting Club but like another reviewer found that I didn't really engage with one single character. Among other things the Cancer treatment wasn't long enough/hard enough/gradual enough, but then again I had a different cancer and other people's mileage may vary. While I initially scored it a 4 it reduced to a 3.5 because I couldn't remember enough of it.

I’m a belgian university student that loves chick-lit. Would you like to help me with my thesis and write to me why you (personally) like reading chick-lit? What is it about chick-lit that appeals to you? What are your favourite books and why? Your help would mean a lot to me!
Best wishes,

Would you maybe like to mention the blog entry (http://www.librarything.com/thingology/2006/12/cutter-classification-reloaded.ph...) in the description to the Cutter group?
Best wishes :-)
