About meI'm 57 and have been a reader since I was a small child. In fact, my earliest memeory is of my mother reading to me. I'm a manager in a manufacturing plant and serve on the Board of our wonderful Public Library. I also belong to Altrusa, a businesswomen's service club. Altrusa's primary interest is literacy. I have been an adult literacy volunteer for more than 20 years and have been working with my current student who is from Singapore for 4 years. I read everything but especially enjoy "good" fiction and biography.

About my libraryWell, my library is all over the house, I don't think I have a room without books. I have something like 300 I'd guess and I'm currently tryng to do some weeding out which as I'm sure you know is like cutting off my arm!

Clue,

My husband Anjin received his SantaThing book in the mail today. I hadn't told him to expect it so it was a complete surprise. He's very pleased with his gift, Crime Novels: American Noir of the 1930s & 40s. He sends his heartfelt thanks and looks forward to reading it. (It goes along very well with one of the gifts I got him for Christmas--a set of American classic noir movies.) Thank you!
