To My Daughter with Love is a collection of poetry and art created by Susan Polis Schutz and Stephen Schutz as a tribute to their daughter. Written with a kind of free style verse, the poems detail the hopes and dreams the parents have for their daughter, both when she was young and as she leaves for college.

While obviously cheesy, To My Daughter with Love serves its purpose as a gift book from mother to daughter. The poems are touching and have many universal themes. The sentiment of show more independence and being able to stand alone was especially nice, as it expresses a dream for a daughter that many mothers from that age were just exploring themselves.

Not for everyone, but worth checking out if you are looking for a graduation gift for your daughter or maybe a gift for a new mother.

So sweet! My mom got this from her mom, and she has passed it down to me. I cant wait to see how my daughter grows as a person as I await the right time to pass it down to her.
Very fun and full of little pick-me-ups, this book is great on those days that you need just a little something to brighten your day. I really enjoyed it.
A rather bletcherous entry in the poetry project, most of them stunk, esp. the many by the editor of the collection.
