As the title said, an introduction to philosophy of science- what is science, why does it matter, does it matter how we do it?
Later chapters do recall some concepts introduced earlier, but each chapter can be taken as its own philosophical essay complete with suggested further reading at the end of each. I personally found it to be a little slow in the middle, but definitely an interesting read. Science philosophy really should be discussed more frequently among scientists, but maybe as show more like a survey seminar during graduate school. show less

An overview of the nature of science and how it informs philosophical questions about free will, truth, and the nature of man.
