Brilliant book on genius in general and Tesla in particular. The book is short and concise without becoming mythological about Tesla. Some great point on what is genius and what 'other' attributes do genius type folk have that sets them apart from others. May re-read. Recommend this one
Quick and interesting read, although very little on Tesla that was new or surprising. What makes this worth reading is the author's setup and drive to show how Tesla differed from his contemporaries and what might be duplicated from his experience.
This is very quick read and a well written synopsis of Nikola Tesla and imagination. I had heard of Tesla but didn't know much more and this book was a great introduction to an amazing person and a great inspirational read about genius being a path anybody can take, never giving up, thinking being the enemy of creativity and varied knowledge and experiences being more likely lead to fresh ideas. It is not a book for getting an in depth understanding of Tesla or in depth information about show more self improvement or imagination, but it is a good short inspirational read. show less
I loved this little book. Not only was it interesting and informative, it was inspirational. Often creatives are struck with self-doubt and this book counters that wonderfully. I enjoyed the quotes and information on how great minds view the world and their place in it. I would recommend to anyone who has a burning desire to create and add to the world.
