4.5 stars. I wasn't expecting much from this book, but I was really pleasantly surprised both at the quality of the writing, the story itself and how well it captures your attention and begs not to be put down for too long. Shay is likeable--for being career driven, she's not ball busting and mean as so many career drive women are usually portrayed. Stefan is also likeable and his transformation believable. You really understand why he has been the way he is and why he can change. I laughed show more at myself a few times with Shay's interactions with Kane because I totally thought she should ditch the party boy and go for the dark, serious mystery. Ahem, that's obviously the next book and a different woman.

I got this free or super cheap on amazon and will likely buy the others and look out for other titles by the author. I also really enjoyed the length and depth of this book--too many of these types tend to be a really fast read--too fast. I felt like everything was fully developed and well wrapped up. I liked it. Oh, one more thing--for being a naughty club, it really wasn't erotica. There are certainly a few sexy scenes, but I had expected a much more "adult" writing, and this wasn't it. The sex scenes blend in well to the story. show less

Tressa is one tough cookie, she doesn't like attention on her nor does she like to open up her heart to anyone and you really feel the struggle she goes through when Killian enters her life. Killian is a great loyal guy who has finally made it big time and meeting Tressa is the icing on the cake. Seeing them go through all the highs and lows of building their relationship was great as you could feel where both were coming from, although I really really wanted to shake some show more sense into Tressa at times lol. It was great to not only see Tressa with Killian but how her family dynamics started to change also as she learnt it as ok to be open ❤ show less

I just loved this book, Summer is determined but doesn't have the confidence to back herself and Ethan just wants to do what makes him happy but the family pressures are always there. What begins as a show of deception soon changes and we are drawn into watching Summer and Ethan not only wrestle with their feelings but also work out what they really want in life. There is plenty of lust, lies, frustration (not only by them but you as a reader wanting to shake them silly at times!) and the show more want for them to see what they mean to each oh and some meddling family members to top it off. Now I patiently or should I say impatiently wait for the next book !! 😜 show less
