For a textbook, this was very interesting, almost a pleasure to read.

This was actually a pretty interesting read for a text book. I don't think I've ever read a text book all the way through, but this actually didn't read like a text. That fact helped make the material much more interesting to learn.

Better definitions and more examples would make this a five star introduction to Sociology.
