Wish I had made notes but I remember this as good, not great. I also recall thinking it was too much ego which is why I prefer biography over memoir/autobiography. His journalistic story was interesting and impressive.
An interesting autobiography from a legend in broadcast journalism. Schorr is the last of the "Murrow Boys" still working in journalism. He has seen, and has been a part of, much of the biggest news stories of the second half of the 20th century, from WWII Nazi Germany and the building of the Berlin Wall, to Watergate, the fall of communism, and CIA scandal. A fascinating look at history and a view of broadcast journalism.
