I do enjoy this series.  Sometimes the poems are a little strained, but the information is always interesting and the pictures appealing.  I particularly like that the major portion of the page is brief and accessible to preschoolers, but there is also more in-depth info. on each page.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear about this book. I loved the colorful illustrations that went along with the story. This book is great because it provides history about Idaho and is informational while still being interesting and fun to read. This would be a great book to use during a fourth grade history lesson when learning about Idaho.
The illustrations in this book are amazing. They really give the story a setting which helps bring the information presented in this book alive. This book presents a lot of factual information about the state of Idaho in a fun and interesting format. This makes this book a good example of non-fiction.
