This book begins with an well written introduction into the theory of "Q".

I wish I would have stopped at the introduction and then skipped to the epilogue because the rest got out of hand.

The foundation of the theory is speculation and the rest is incredible speculation piled on top of incredible speculation.
A quick and readable introduction to both Q and the [Gospel of Thomas] which includes both texts. A good introduction to Q -- and I can't think of a better short introduction to the Gospel of Thomas in English, despite all that's been written about it, since. This is also a light and inexpensive copy of GTh in Coptic -- much better than carrying around the phone-book-sized 1/5th of the [Coptic Gnostic Library]. :P [[Richard Smith]]'s student Coptic dictionary is a good companion to this book.
Read this book after reading Burton Mack's treatise. Detail in this book is 'mind blowing'. I would have to return frequently to the book if I were to use it for an argument / debate. Good to have the background about Q.
