Reviews
I find this a difficult book to review: it is, in part an excellent introduction to socialist thinking... and, in part a middle class WI apology for class stratification.
I suspect that I am not the desired audience: it would be a sterling book to give to a conservative friend. It would little offend and often sting with a well aimed arrow at the heart of Conservative values. It is, perhaps, not as far t the left as I would be. There is a tendency to celebrate the good old days - these, of show more course, are the days of our youth: pre our birth, things were too primitive and the youth of today have some funny ideas. show less
