A great little kit that contains not only two little books with instructions on how to fold some origami bugs (and flowers) but also 96 sheets of origami paper. While origami can be a bit of a challenge for little people, and adults who have problems with straight lines, our household has been enlivened with our attempts to create our own paper-bug zoo. Just don't look to closely at some of the outcomes!
At first this looked really nifty, but the second time through I realized that there was much missing from the directions, like how to center motifs, how to do some of the complicated measuring, and how to clean some of the trash (Trust me, you can't use potato chip bags for origami without extensive cleaning). Also, I've seen most of the projects elsewhere. Good one to get from the library. (Caveat: I didn't watch the DVD. Maybe there's more there that I missed.

This book is arranged as 16 projects, each teaching another level of the craft of origami. It comes with an instructional CD as well, which I think is a very good idea.
