Overall, I highly recommend it based on content.

This book is very informative. I've read a lot on personality and still learned things I didn't formerly know. Extremely insightful.

I only gave three stars because the information could have been much better organized. It's written in a question and answer style, and each question is answered as if you are reading it out of context. This leads to a huge amount of repetition, and at times the author seems to contradict himself.

The author show more admittedly represents the most extreme version of the personality disorder, so keep this in mind while you read. I personally found it helpful, but a few words setting that tone would have been helpful.

One other thing to note. It has a huge amount of links through the book. It's easy to unknowingly select a link when you intent is to turn the page. I kept getting lost.

This review is one of my most challenging as I had to deal with this type of personality in close quarters. Very in depth look on the subject of narcissim. While reading this book I would highlight what applied to my experiences or what I understood. This is a keeper. I wish the author would do a simplified version of this title. Perhaps have a dictionary handy while reading it for unfamiliar terms. Overall it was a difficult read if you like that kind of challenge.

What I find inspiring about Vankin is that in one of his interviews he mentioned that he was diagnosed him with narcissistic personality disorder and is visiting professor at Southern Federal University in Rostov Oblast, Russia in 2017 holding a course of lectures there on personality theory in psychology.

He resembled me yet on the other side of the color pad, I the public health practitioner who is supposed to raise awareness and develop policies against women show more under domestic violence had undergone the violence, and him a psychologist had been not a borderline narcissist himself. What inspired me is that he gave tips of how a narcissist thinks and acts because he was one until he psychoanalyzed himself.

Additionally, he has an email channel and he is prompt in responding to emails, I did email him and he got back to me within a maximum of 48 hours.
