Slightly Foxed is a quarterly book review published in London under the editorship of Gail Pirkis and Hazel Wood. In the words of the editors it is "Unaffected by the winds of fashion and the hype of the big publishers ... [and introduces] its readers to some of the thousands of good books that long ago disappeared from the review pages and often from the bookshop shelves". The editors consistently find books that remain good reading long after their original publishing date. I have given most of the series canonical titles to impose a uniform format, purely for the sake of order and symmetry. Should anyone prefer a different format, I would not start any editing wars just so long as all the titles are changed ;-) (English, Member-written)

The independent-minded quarterly magazine that combines good looks, good writing and a personal approach. Slightly Foxed introduces its readers to books that are no longer new and fashionable but have lasting appeal. Good-humoured, unpretentious and a bit eccentric, it’s more like having a well-read friend than a subscription to a literary review.
