Link the last word (not numeral ) of the third book's title of a previous participant/poster

You are not following the game rules.

First Title: start with " singing" , exclusive of the article, a. the.

Second Title: start with "last word" of the first title.

Third Title: start with "last word" of the second title.

See previous postings above. Good attempt.Try again.

#78 is wrong: should start with 'never'

83rolandperkins
Aug 26, 2013, 3:17 pm

"78 . . .should start with "never". (82)

RIght. Sorry; I inadvertently proceeded to the last word of my own first titleʻs* first word.

*My first title was going to be "Never so Few" and I jumped to its last word without listing it!

84rolandperkins
Aug 26, 2013, 3:45 pm

I have corrected #78, making it still end with
". . .singing" so that 81
can be correct. (But I could do that only by making 78 a list of 4 instead of 3). If thatʻs ok, then 81 is the one to play on now.

>rolandperkins- are you next?

86rolandperkins
Edited: Aug 28, 2013, 1:25 am

". . . are you next?" (85)

If my scanning of 81--85, and of the rules is correct, the next player is anyone (except the most recent player (78 -- me)! ) who can list a sequence of 3 books, in which the first one
starts with the word "Rules" i.e. with the last word of 81.
Unfortunately that would seem to be a word that may often appear elsewhere in the title, but seldom as the first word. But there is no "FICTION ONLY!" rule in this game (see the title), so there must be some non-fictions which begin with the noun
"rules".

when I saw #122, I noticed you hadn't put an author for the last one. Did you post it then go in and re-edit it? Otherwise it must be due to the international dateline!!!

126rolandperkins
Nov 4, 2013, 4:48 pm

Q."Did you post (122) and then go in and re-edit it?"
(125)

A. Exactly.
And I wasn't protesting in 124, just expressing a surprise-instigated curiosity.
If one does go to look something up in "Search", the applicable
post has to be saved and left on the screen (which I didn't realize at first). Otherwise I have to start all over again.
That was my reason for leaving the unfinished post on the screen. (The difficulty was mainly with Title (1), the Edgar Guest "double feature". I was trying to find out if the 6 words were two titles published together, or
the full title of "A Heap o'
Livin'
. Search's aversion
to apostrophes complicates this a little, but didn't really do any harm here.)
