This is the must have for Dungeon Masters and those who wish to the art of Dungeons & Dragons. Of course, I got this one after my old one just fell apart after years of use and abuse. If ya' gotta' know, this is the book.
A vast reference of all sorts of things related to AD&D, including many things a DM should know to run a game. By far the best DMG of all D&D editions.
I'm not much of a DM myself, but it is cool to see what the role originated with.
like it or not, there it is

Never read cover-to-cover, but I've read sections of it over the years.
