This was a great read for my favorite time of the year. Some really good stories, some okay, and some meh. But it was fun!
Substance: The stories were interesting but not outstanding. Some were chapters taken from books, others were stand-alone stories. Most matched what you would expect from the authors. Contents by Beverly Cleary, Elizabeth Coatsworth, E. L. Konigsburg, Eleanor Estes, Madeleine L'Engle, Arthur Bowie Chrisman, Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, Charles J. Finger, Paul Fleischman, Virginia Hamilton.
I only liked a few of the stories included here... The rest I found mediocre, and sometimes even confusing.
