Great book about running, starting out, why we do it, and how to do it well. All these years later, almost every bit of it sounds just like today, even the description of the poor state of fitness and nutrition in the US today. His writing style is comfortable and fun, making even the beginner like me feel like I can do this.

A popular read in the 1970s, as an adolescent new to jogging/aerobics/running/fitness.
