Very useful book UP TO 1959, but lacks something - perhaps colorful pictures (all are B&W) and some critical analysis and some insight.

This is a collection of articles that covers his personal opinions about death penalty, bible in school, medical topics, etc. Agree or disagree, it is hard to believe these were written in the late 1700's, and still relevant today.

This edition stops in the early 1980s, so this compact book failed to incorporate many contemporary ideas of the last quarter century. Keeping this limitation in mind, students of philosophy can still utilize this revised and enlarged edition for a review in philosophy.
